Ensure BMC FW release 2.42 or later is pre-installed before attempting this FRU/SDR update. 2. Copy all of the files and directories in the wolfpass_2.04_FRUSDR.zip archive to a USB key, hard disk drive or floppy drive. 3. Execute the following script to bring up the main FRU/SDR load menu: updS2600WF.nsh 4. Select Option 1 to do the SDR update. 5. Answer the prompts, and the SDRs will be loaded ============================================================================= KNOWN ISSUES/WORKAROUNDS ============================================================================= BMC behavior might be inconsistent up to 2 minutes after loading the firmware update. Initially, the BMCs were manufactured with an older style, SHA1 private key. This release causes the BMC to update its keys at first power on, and correct some known issues. This process takes about 2 minutes the first time it is run, and will lead to inconsistent behavior immediately following a firmware update. Waiting for 2 minutes will allow the BMC procedure to complete successfully. Once this is successful, you will not see this issue again. Wolf Pass power on boards came with no FRU programmed, which causes fru loading to fail. You must load an intial FRU manually before the FRUSDR package can successfully load a fru. This is done with the /fru flag on frusdr.efi Processor DTS sensors appear to wrap around, so a clamp of -15 is imposed to work around issue ============================================================================= ISSUES FIXED ============================================================================= Version will change to match BMC firmware.
